Mistheria recalls his freedom on The Mandrake Project
Mistheria says The Mandrake Project gave him greater freedom to develop keyboard and orchestral ideas than his earlier work with Bruce Dickinson. In an Iron Maiden Brasil interview in Portuguese, he identifies the piano introduction to “Shadow Of The Gods” and the Arabic-influenced section of “Fingers In The Wounds” as examples. He also traces his connection with Bruce through Roy Z and recalls the long wait between recording Tyranny Of Souls and joining Bruce onstage in 2024.
