Maiden join the champions of National Album Day 2025
Iron Maiden are among the four artist champions for National Album Day on 18 October, alongside Wolf Alice, Nova Twins and Architects. The organisers' announcement sets rock music as this year's theme. Bruce Dickinson celebrates the experience of receiving a finished record, while Rod Smallwood recalls how an album once brought together new music, a tour and a new Eddie. The event is organised by the BPI and ERA with BBC Radio 2 as broadcast partner.
