Andy Makin recalls reshaping Psycho Motel’s vocals
Andy Makin rewrote the vocal melodies he was asked to learn for his Psycho Motel audition, then watched Adrian Smith adapt to them. In an Axe Crazy interview from 2018, the singer recalls joining the band, writing Welcome To The World with Smith and bringing heavier influences into the music. He also describes developing the album's cover concept and regrets that the band played so few shows.
