Bruce Dickinson recalls Chile’s Maiden fans and hopes for a solo tour of South America in 2028
In Radio Futuro’s written account of its interview, Bruce Dickinson recalls how complaints that Maiden were devil worshippers stopped the band’s first planned show in Chile in the early 1990s, and how fans crossed the border to see them in Mendoza, Argentina. He compares Maiden’s audience to plywood, with a new generation adding a layer every couple of years. He also hopes to bring his solo band to South America in early 2028, though nothing is fixed.
