As you know we're "kinda" new because although this site USED to be The Edge of Darkness, the site moved aftert months of downtime so if anyone out there can help spread the word then we'd appreciate it

I think adverts in signatures (like RW does...just the address) and banners-put them on as many sites as possible. I put posts on the Fansites thingy on the Off. BB every other Sunday-maybe if I change it to every Sunday. Anything else we could try?
I've done my bit 
Emailed one or 100 fansites to ask if they could advertise our glorious return in return for whatever we can offer
There's always something more to do
I've got an ad in my sig at the Off. BB and I post the updates, but I'm willing to do anything else to get this site noticed more.
Perhaps when (if ) the site is complete, you could find some translators so the site is in several languages, rather than just English.
I could do the Mariner & Wingdings language pages.
nah i tried that last time and it was only a half done job really - some of the translators let me down (not all I must admit). Theres plenty sites out there as good as us in Italian and Greek and god knows what else
we need to prune the top 30 list, my abandoned sites are in between the 10 and 20 positions, don´t ask me why, teod is doing great too
i can upload the thing to every search engine if you like, i did that with my sites and i still got a lot of visitors

Cool. The Top 30 fansites I'm not that bothered about. As long as those sites are there - defunct or not it gives me access to emailing a LOT of Maiden fans! Surprised TEOD had that many "hits out" this month though considering we're a bit defunct until now but never mind
Perhaps we could have a guestbook, so visitors can leave their opinions of the site.

i hate those, a lot of hate mail, even if the site is great, we could have the guestbook as a section on the forum
used to have a guestbook but i don't see the point. Usually where people just post hateful comments and it doesn;t really help get people coming back
