Back... again

...but for how long. Apparently we keep exceding the server load limit for our server which we were not told there was a restriction on when we signed up to this server for a year. This is the second time this has happened and if it happens again our account will be terminated. Nice eh? Well despite the hosting companies persistant refusal to actually HELP us find the cause I am continuing to look into the cause of the issue myself. The e-team has been suspended until further notice as this uses a lot of queries which may be the cause. The "forum offline" notice which appears on the forum when the server load limit is reached should now also appear rather cruedly on the rest of the website too. This is as much as we can do and we have to hope it's enough. I am making backups of the entire website as of this moment now. If the site goes down again we will have backups from this moment and before but no forum posts after this time. If the site is removed I have no idea what I will do. I can't afford to get another host. We're unlikely to get our money back if the account is terminated and with no website we will not be able to fund raise again like we did last time. It may be the rather abrupt end of maidenfans. Sorry about this guys. I take most of the blame for this as it was my decision to move to this server and it is likely my custom scripts that is causing the excess server load. Lets hope it doesnt come to this but should we dissapear its been great chatting with you all. You're the best fans in the world and this is the best forum in the world. Rock on and up-the-irons.
