It's sad but not that surprising: Maiden has always been a European band and they refused to change their sound to sell more records in the USA unlike Def Leppard or Judas Priest.
Well maybe it's because maiden don't do a very big tour in the US this time...

Actually, this was an unfair comment. If the States are lead by a belliquous moron (who was not even elected by the people) and harbour a high concentration of mindless rednecks, we should NOT consider ALL Americans as being a bunch of arseholes who are worthless of Maiden.
Everyone deserves a chance and we should think of all the cool people in the States who are penalised because the country has been made a laughing stock for the rest of the world by a minority of absolute wankers.
Are all Brits two-faced cretins because they have a two-faced cretin at their head? I think not!
Now, let's get back to talking Maiden

While you can have your opinions about Americans and our leader, you should not be so quick to judge what you may not fully understand about this country, even though it seems you think you have us figured out.
Do you live here or do you get your opinions of us from what you read in the local tabloids?
You seem to have learned to read, but yet to understand what you read
Re-read what I posted and maybe you'll think twice about getting on your warhorse, my Yankee friend
Ah, stop arguing like little girls. Who cares. All countries are retarded in their own nitch. Iron Maiden 1/23/04 at Hammerstein Ballroom baby! Woo-Hoo!
I merely wanted to point out that I took the defense of the US, saying that not all of the people there were prats, and that owed me an unjustified attack from one of those prats who think I'm dissing his country.
Well, we bomb countries all over the world, starve kids in Iraq, hold out on treaties, and then we expect everyone else to just take that? Of course they're going to strike back.

My beef is more with these comments:
"If the States are lead by a belliquous moron (who was not even elected by the people) and harbour a high concentration of mindless rednecks"
"Everyone deserves a chance and we should think of all the cool people in the States who are penalised because the country has been made a laughing stock for the rest of the world by a minority of absolute wankers"
First off, Bush won the electoral college vote. Not the popular vote, although, no one really knows for sure. Like it or not, that is how our system here works. He won fair and square.
"A high concentration of mindless rednecks", I agree with that one but would add that there is also a high concentration of mindless liberals. In my area they are rampant.
Secondly while you say our leaders are a minority of absolute wankers,(I assume this is who you are reffering to), couldnt it also be said that the UN is run by a bunch of wankers also? If they had pulled thier thumbs out of thier butts and got on board with the US, maybe Saddams WMD`s could have been found after all? Instead, because the UN wanted to ignore the threat and sit on thier hands and more or less do nothing at all, (the Hans Blix side show doesnt count), didnt they perhaps buy Saddam time to hide or destroy his WMD`s?
So, there you go. I do indeed have reading comprehention, I just perhaps didnt make myself quit clear enough
To sum it up I am somewhat political and reading this in passing got me fired up. Nothing personal man.
not a big tour in USA? and this affects album sales? if yes, then ******* USA!
