New Album´s release date
According to Mariskalrock.net( a Spanish metal site), the forthcoming Iron Maiden album will be released on September 3rd. It's believed that EMI Spain plans the edition of a single in June. Makes sense. At least that's a sign the release date might be known, so now all we can wait for is it to be postponed
japp,.,,this year will rock
NA NA NA NA NANAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!?!
3rd september is wednesday :B
So what?
Single released in June. Does Iron Maiden even get ANY radio play anywhere? I don't think it will over here in the US; they'd rather listen to shit like Creed and Blink 182!
Bah, Its only mainstream lowlives who listen to radio anyway. People that really understand music develop thier own musical tastes and listen to music on their home stereo.
Much more likely to be the 1st or 8th. Albums are generally released on a monday here. June to Septemeber is a long time to be "anticipating" an album if the single turns out to be good. Wonder why theyre waiting so long

Try to be a LITTLE optimistic... Sure, Roc In Rio and Visions have been postponed... Maybe the third time will be the charm...

I love you, man.. You are SO right! Good post! You beat me to it...
And so... To continue with the yelling of "Bullshit!!"... Bullshit!! Releases in the States are always on Tuesday... A day behind the rest of the world, in typical United States fashion... God bless the USA...
some radios played the wickerman here on chile (tiempo, rock and pop, futuro), none played out of the silent planet, futuro is dead, rock and pop plays well known maiden songs ocasionally (be quick, madness, notb, etc) and some live gigs from rir, donnington and arldo, and tiempo used to play run to the hills last year constantly, not anymore
I even saw the wickerman (us version) on mtvla central (latinamerica, central) once, just once
MTV Brasil played it a lot and I'm not sure, but if I remember correctly I think I have watched it on Much Music Argentina.
Maiden vids get a fairly regular showing on MuchMusic, at least here in Denver... I saw the entire Rocc In Rio show a few months back! And they played the Wrathchild video once... Otherwise, Maiden get totally ignored by Denver media.
All good (evil) things come to those who wait!
