Number of the Beast in Guitar World
While guitarists Dave Murray and Adrian Smith each turn in impressive lead performances in Iron Maiden's classic "The Number of the Beast," it's their rhythm work throughout the song that provides the real challenge. Admittedly, at first glance, there's nothing that stands out as being difficult; the rhythm parts never go into anything more complex than eighth notes. However, considering the fact that the song is played at the fast clip of 200 beats per minute, and that most of its rhythm parts are performed entirely with downstrokes, playing them just like the record suddenly becomes a formidable task.Source: Guitar World
