A Little Piece Of Mind in April 2005
It was Monday, May 16th, 1983 and a Heavy Metal classic was about to be birthed upon the unsuspecting public. Metal gods Iron Maiden put out their new album, "Piece of Mind", and fans devoured it. Reaching number 3 on the UK charts, "Piece of Mind" blasted the doors down with such classics as "The Trooper" and "Flight of Icarus". In usual Iron Maiden fashion, the awesome music was accompanied by equally awesome album art. The Iron Maiden mascot, Eddie, was immortalized on the album cover in a straight jacket, chained to the walls of a rubber room. With such a great image, it's a wonder that no company has made an action figure based on something so cool. Well, wonder no more because coming April 2005 you will be able to find the "Piece of Mind" Eddie action figure at 7 Inch scale. With a ball jointed neck and torso, this great representation of the art was sculpted by Kyle Windrix and painted by Ed Repka. Click below for a photo of the worlds most famous metal mascot ever.
