Best of the Beast Re-released?
Rumours on the Maiden BB has it Iron Maiden will re-release Best of the Beast. Very unlikely, as we have Edward The Great, but that's why it's a rumour!

Right, let's put out another compilation. As if the original 2 BOTB versions, Ed Hunter and Edward The Great weren't enough.
The only comp you need by now is Visions Of The Beast, it has every song needed on a best of, the videos to them and bonus material.
I understand Maiden want a best of, and BOTB is justified, and I have no problem with a best of CD in Ed Hunter (I don't have the game, though), but what was ETG all about? Can anybody tell me that (the cover is great, though)?

Don't really beleive in it, but maybe EMI did recall some of the BOTB stock to make room for ETG and now they are replacing it in the stores.

Apparently record companies can release compilations and best of's whenever they want to.

The 2CD version is not though. The one in stores is only 1 CD, and is missing about 14 tracks.
yeh the single one is missing quite a few of the original tracks of the double like the ones of the sounhouse tapes and many more
