Bruce Announces Two Maiden DVDs
On the latest 'Headbangers' Ball' on MTV2, Bruce told audiences that Steve Harris would start working on a DOD Tour DVD, as previously hinted ...but he also added that a Best Of DVD would be out for Christmas !No further comment were made on this intruiging announcement.
Update: the Best Of DVD seems to be about Bruce solo career only and should feature his best live moments

I agree with tabor - wasn't Visions of the beast like an Best of DVD?
Though I know the fact of VOTB beeing a video-collection..but anyway
maybe a best of live....

ok, so now we have 3 people saying it was a solo release he was talking about because Uncletrunx confirmed it as well..
I think an idea of a very complete DVD Best Of is not bad at all.
The last BIG best of was BOTB, and since then Maiden released 3 studio albums. So it would be a great idea to put some of the songs in those 3 studio albums plus some other stuff, packed in a nice case full of nice Maiden stuff 
.
The idea of the 'Live After Death' DVD is also a good one.
I've heard some rumours of Maiden releasing a DVD including the EP 'Behind The Iron Curtain' and 'Live After Death'.
It would be nice also adding to it 'Maiden England', but the price of it would be a little high, don't you think?.
Anyway, any idea of a Maiden DVD is great, and hope it'll come to my country.

I want the VHS back cataloigue to be rereleased on DVD with the following criteria:
1. All releases rereleased in their entiety, NOTHING missing
2. VHS releases that overlap (all the different video collections) can and should be ommited

3. Smaller VHS releases like 12 Wasted Years or Behind the iron Curtain and Iron Maiden and Video Pieces can be lumbed together, but featuring all original artwork!
4. Bigger VHS releases issued seperately with special bonus material from that period or commentaries from original Members of the time...
5. Missing tracks from Live After Death and Maiden England (encores) restored!
6. All DVDs should feature true 5.1 sound, not crappy 2.0 that passes off as 5.1 (see Judas Priest - Electric eye DVD / Iron Maiden - Raising Hell "semi-official" DVD)
7. All concert DVDS should come with accompanying CDs that feature the concert on CD. Kind of like the Maiden England Double Pack VHS+CD
8. Release an ultra cool BOX SET of all of the above. You should be able to get the box with one of these and then fill it up by collecting the others, because the price would be huge if they were sold all together.
I'd love a chance to get a Best of Bruce DVD. And the DoD tour...well, I didn't get to bloody well go see it, did I?

I think both of these DVD's sounds really cool... It's always nice to have "your" concerts to watch again and again!
But christmas is VERY far away!
i belive it must be BD best of, because releasing another best of after VOTB dvd will be really weird!!!

I think a Best of Bruce DVD will be really cool. DoD Tour DVD must be published because the DoD tour was so amazing.

Visions Of The Beast was a collection, but not a best of one.
It is a video collection that has all the videos that The First Ten Videos doesn't have, so it makes it a wider collection.
Anyway, I would like 2-3 Maiden DVDs including all the stuff said above, especially the EPs, Live After Death and Maiden England.

Bruce has been thinking about releasing a best of solo DVD for a while. He - apparently - would love to include his live videos and the amazing promo clips.
when i saw it i thought it was a fairly old interview, from around half a year ago.
perhaps i was wrong then.
No further comment were made on this intruiging announcement.
