Bruce Presents: Legendary Excess in Rock History
Press Release:From Saturday 12th to Monday 21st June, 6 Music will be putting the bad behavior back into rock 'n' roll. Forget your yoga, organic tofu burgers and nights in with the Mrs - we're here to celebrate the most legendary moments of excess in rock history, and we want the audience to vote for the greatest.
Who better to kick off the madness than our very own Bruce Dickinson? Tune into his Rock Show on Saturday June 12th, when he'll be learning a few things about behaving badly from shock-rockers Slipknot.
Then throughout the week you'll have the chance to take 6 Music wherever you go by winning a DAB personal radio in our 'Name and Shame' competition. Each day our DJ's will be recreating a well known moment of rock and roll excess. Send in your guesses as to who it might be, and the winner will be announced daily in Andrew Collins show fro 4 till 7pm.
Plus - tune into The Dream Ticket every night to hear rare concert performances from the artists who gave rock a bad name.
You can get involved online too, as we try to pin down the ultimate moment of bad behavior. Was it Ozzy and the bat? Maybe it was Ian Brown and his airline antics? And you can take your pick from all of the Sean Ryder stories. Vote for your favourite and we'll unveil the Top 10 on the Breakfast Show with Phill Jupitus on Monday 21st June.

Edited the post somewhat (added a link to BBC6 and made the news headline more Maiden related).

I gotta say, Slipknot do have a kick in them. I know not a lot of people on this BB might hate them, but their sound suits good for some of my pent-up emotions. So, Rock ON!!
nope i have to say that they just scream into a microphone... the only song that was remotely good was Wait and Bleed and that was pretty crappy really.
