Bruce Radio City Interview about Forthcoming Tour
Thanks to Tag and MS, we have a transcript of the short interview Bruce did with the finn Radio City:Radio City, Helsinki, Finland October 19th 2004.

BD = Bruce Dickinson
SR: Will the new tour contain old Iron Maiden songs also?
BD: The tour next year is going to be a look back at all the great stuff that we've done in the past especially for new fans who've never heard the band do some of these songs which are 20 years old, I mean we're playing in Europe only for 2 months from the end of May until the first week in July and obviously Hartwall Areena in Helsinki on Wednesday July the 6th.
SR: Okay, so we can expect you here?
BD: Oh yes.
SR: You were here two times last year. Which one of those gigs was the best?
BD: I really liked the second gig because it was great to come back and I just remember the outside, the snow and everything else. It was nice showing up in a middle of a bizzard going to do a gig. I mean i guess it's normal weather for you but unusual for us.
SR: Everytime you guys go on tour rumours start saying that this is your last tour and you are retitring... Will you actually tell us when that time comes?
BD: Oh yeah, we'll give you plenty of notice.
SR: Okay, so I don't have to put some rumour on that this is going to be your last tour...
BD: No 'cos it's not.
SR: Ok. You promise that now?
BD: Oh yes.
SR: Albums, DVD's, books, tours... Iron Maiden seems to be pretty eager to please the fans all the time...
BD: Well, you know it's all available if people want to have a look at it. I mean we were one of the first bands to produce really extensive videos of documentary footage and things like that, so all we're doing really is just carrying on what we've always done.
SR: Thank you very much.
*Music: The Trooper starts to fade in*
BD: Marvellous.
SR: And I'm waiting for you to come to Finland.
BD: Oh, indeed yes.
BD: Hi I'm Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden and on Wedesday July the 6th in Hartwall Arena, me, my mates and Eddie are gonna rip up Helsinki. See you there!

How to interpret this:

Will the tour be Europe only ? The wording is ambiguous.

Totally agree. That's why I said it was very ambiguous... It's either:
Europe only, for 2 months
OR
Europe, only for 2 months
