Children of Bodom Vocalist Can't Copy Bruce
In a recent interview by the Dallas Music Guide, Children of Bodom had this answer about doing a Maiden cover:"DMG: You guys did a cover of “Aces High” for an Iron Maiden tribute record - what was that like?
HB: Well, it was just an idea to do that song. Of course, it’s a good song, but it’s kind of funny for us to do Iron Maiden, first of all, because of the vocals. It’s actually very funny to listen to it, with Alexi [Lahio, Children of Bodom vocalist] trying to sing the Bruce Dickinson stuff – it just doesn’t work out. But it’s very funny."
Shows it's hard to copy our Bruce.

of course it's hard for a cookie monster vocalist to copy Bruce, I think that's why they think it was funny, not because he did bad, but it doesn't really fit their Death Metal style.
Having said that, I'm sure it's hard to copy Bruce, especially on Aces High.

But I like the their Cover of Aces High
Its true Death Metal singer dont know how to sing. Even me I can sing like them.

singing the death metal way isn't as easy as you think plus you can get throught cancer..... so i agree sing in your computer and wer shall see who is the best man i am a lead singer for my own death metal band...
now listen Bodom is an excellent band and they obviosly like maiden so they did the song that doesn't mean he has to copy bruce i mean when GNR redid knockin on heavens door it didn'tsound like the original...

i like it too.... i saw bodom in concert (it was excellent)
It's a bad cover.
I prefer Dark Tranquility's cover to 22 Acacia Avenue.
Of course he can't reach Bruce's singing level and less if he growls through the whole song 
.
