Kevin Shirley to Revamp Some Maiden Catalog

Posted by The Saint on December 10, 2004 @ 14:36

On his blog-diary, Kevin Shirley, producer of the last three Maiden outings, says "January and February [will] see me back in London, working on revamping some Maiden catalog."

It is unclear if this is intented for a future DVD entry in the History series, for another best-of or for yet another remaster of the Maiden music library.

I guess Kevin should have the master tapes to be able to remix the old albums into surround... Did they maintain it (after so many years and without proper conservation, some might be unusable).

Cheers
