Maiden is 24th on VH1's Greatest Hard Rock Artists

Posted by The Saint on March 8, 2004 @ 07:41

VH1 (US) had a show called 'VH1's 100 Greatest Hard Rock Artists' on Sunday night (March, 7). Iron Maiden ranked 24. The TV station played 'Flight of Icarus', 'Killers and 'Wicker Man' and Bruce was giving various comments on other bands.

Here's an excerpt from the VH1 list (found on the VH1 website): 1. Led Zeppelin 2. Black Sabbath 3. Jimi Hendrix 4. AC/DC 5. Metallica ... 23. Judas Priest 24. Iron Maiden

Thanks to StrangerInAStrangeLand and SinisterMinisterX for the correction
