Maiden Nominated for '05 Rock Hall of Fame?

The following bands and musicians have been nominated for the 2005 Rock Hall of Fame:

U2, Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Simple Minds, The Pretenders, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Joan Jett, ABBA, Jeff Beck, Black Sabbath (although ozzy has always said he didn't want to be inducted), Chicago, Dick Dale, Van Halen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Mellencamp, The Steve Miller Band. Pat Benetar and Twisted Sister.

I tend to believe that, but there's no official word or press release at this time. This list represent one of 25+ years which are still not inducted (U2 seems an obvious choice, for it will turn 25 next year).

I'm monitoring the story.

Nothing to be found about this and, as stated above, nominations are always released in september.

It could be a draft list or just a total invention.
