Maiden Tickets Selling at Storm Speed

Posted by The Saint on October 25, 2004 @ 15:49

GP.se reports that Iron Maiden tickets for their gig at Ullevi, Sweden, are selling at a very rapid pace. Judge for yourself: already 50650 tickets are sold, only hours after the sale started, meaning that the original amount of tickets sold out in 90 minutes. Not even the great Metallica could achieve this.

However, the ticket seller reports that it's likely to add up to 8000 tickets depending on how much space the tour's stage set will take, which will decide of the exact capacity of the stadium

Despite the large number of sold tickets, there are no plans for an extra concert, even if rumors are flying high on this matter.

The concert will take place on July, 9 next year and will be the last European one of that tour. Tickets for the second Scandinavia show in Helsinki go on sale on November 1st.

The Gothenburg show will be played at an unfortunate time for me. If I'm not awfully mistaken I'll be away on holiday then so I'll fucking miss it once again.
