Maiden to Headline Aerodrome 2005 ?

Posted by Maidenaustria on December 8, 2004 @ 12:30

Here is the link to an article coming from an Austrian Maidenfan (called nomadofvienna), who found it on the page of a local newspaper in Austria.

It tells about the plans of the upcoming festival Aerodrome 2005 in Austria and rumours of Iron Maiden or AC/DC headlining that festival.

Nothing is confirmed as we all know but read that article (in German) for more.

Be(a)st regards, Maidenaustria

Within Temptation is only the first of the two opening acts. The second could be a much bigger band...

Cheers

Doesn't this:

> Häufig werden dabei AC/DC oder auch Iron Maiden mit dem Aerodrome am Flugfeld in Verbindung gebracht

translate into *Iron Maiden **OR** AC/*DC were linked to the festival ?

Cheers

Yes, good idea. Avoid the opening acts at all costs. You've got to be careful these days, or you might risk seeing a good show put on by a band from whom you didn't expect it. Besides, you would never want to get your money's worth out that ticket.

Oops. My years of German's learning are far away.
And in any case, I've seen ther're 2 nights for the fest : one headline by night...
