As you know, I'm a complete dumb-O when it comes to these things... blink.gif
How does this work? Does it mean that by putting a certain code on one of my pages, I can have the maidenfans news posted directly there?

God, I'm stupid at times! lol[1].gif

I theory yeah.
Do a search on the net for RSS newstickers and it will come up with all manor of confusing things to put on your website. Don't ask me how any of them work, this is mainly for my benefit so I can have headlines on my desktop at work tongue.gif

It works for me, but I'm not a person who needs it (I don't work outside home, so I can check Maidenfans at any time tongue.gif ).
Anyway, great job who have done this.
I don't really understand in internet languages, but Im learning HTML, and a minute ago, when I opened the newsfeed without a newsfeed reader, I saw that the language is quite alike HTML. Is it?

RSS feeds are in XML, which stands for eXtendible Markup Language.
HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language.
Both of these are specialized variations on SGML - Standard Generalized Markup Language.
So the reason they look similar is that they have the same parent, making them sibling languages. They work under the same principles, so if you can read HTML then you can make sense of XML too. (Obviously that only applies to people, not programs!)

Most of HTML is included within XML, although there are some HTML practices which won't work in XML. XML is much more rigorous about making the coders follow the standards. XML can be used for just about any purpose you can think of because it's designed to be adaptable (thus the name, 'eXtendible'), whereas HTML is only good for one thing: web pages.

errr yeah what he said lol[1].gif

This is my first xml test and it seems to work pretty well.
The good thing with this is that I have submitted it to a dozen or so news aggregators so it will be syndicated to dozens of news pages around the internet. This increases the chances of people finding Maidenfans which has to be a good thing smile.gif
