McBrain Damage Auction

on September 24, 2004 @ 06:53

Rick Baum, guitarist from McBrain Damage, has the following statement:

While cleaning the rehearsal room last night we found a couple things we thought we'd offer up for auction. We have 2 original set lists that were taped to the monitors. I'm not even sure if it's the exact song order we ended up doing for the tour...their dirty, smelly and have Corona spilled on them.....very cool collectable items. Also found a used pair of Nicko's sticks. The set lists will be signed by the entire band and the sticks will be signed by Nicko. Don't worry, the proceeds go to a worthy cause......as many Corona's as we can buy for our next rehearsal!

This will be a silent auction, all interested send me a private message with the amount you want to bid, the 3 highest get it. One bid per item, per person. Just bid once for the two set lists, the two highest will win them. Auction ends, and will be announced Mon the 27th.

Good luck

In other MBD news, here is what the same Rick Baum is telling about his favorite tunes to play while in the band:

They're all favorites, that's why we picked them, but I'd have to say Hallowed, Phantom and Clansman were the tunes I really looked forward to and enjoyed the most every night....which also happened to be the most challenging. When these songs were done well (which personally I think we nailed them every night) the feeling is incredible. I grew up worshiping Maiden, posters on the walls, sleeping out for tickets at Madison Square Garden, and to jam these songs with Nicko and these other talented guys is a dream come true.

Chris Proano, the other guitarist, says:

Personally, i really enjoyed and looked forward to playing Clansman, NEW FRONTIER and Hallowed, they inspire me a lot. I really wish we would've had the chance to play Aces High (it's one of my favorite Maiden tunes), but it was awesome anyway.
