More Details on Flying Heavy Metal

on October 16, 2004 @ 02:19

After having received many requests, Maidenfans.com is now able to add more details about the new documentary about airplanes on which Bruce Dickinson is working on.

The production company is called Ricochet and the forthcoming feature can be seen listed on their Current Productions page.

Described as Iron Maiden rock legend and professional pilot Bruce Dickinson charts the evolution of the passenger aeroplane, the documentary is made for Discovery Channel and will be a series of five 30 minutes features.

The production gives a winter 2005 timeframe, but Eric Fetter -the writer of the article at the The Herald- kindly told Maidenfans.com that "as far as an air date in Europe, Bruce said he expects it to be on there in February. It may also show on the Discovery Channel [in the US], but that's still up in the air."

More as soon as we learn it.
