Paul Di'Anno To Continue With Screaming Monkey
Despite Internet reports to the contrary, former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di'Anno has no intentions of parting ways with his all-Italian backing band, dubbed Screaming Monkey (consisting of former members of the Maiden tribute band Children of the Damned). "We wish it to be known that Paul Di'Anno & Screaming Monkey are stronger than ever, and are happy to be touring and currently working on their first album together," reads a posting on Di'Anno's web site. "Paul and the band are on the very best of terms (both as friends and musicians) and expect to be together for a very long time indeed."Source: Blabbermouth.net

Looking for a new band doesn't mean he has to abandon the Screaming Monkeys.
It doesn't really look like a real denial of the previous report. Di'Anno has been known to tour erratically and could do with two bands at the same time, the current one for more aggressive, new metal genre and the other one for a more traditionnal Paul Di'Anno heavy line-up.
Cheers
Comment on Blabbermouth:
They'll be releasing their new album with 17 different versions of Wrathchild next month?
Cheers

Actually, if you go on http://www.childrenofthedamned.it you see that the words "FORMER MEMBERS" are not proper.
The Children of the Damned keep on existing, with the same line-up, and making their shows as the best Italian Iron Maiden tribute band.
They'll probably do it in their free time!
