Slipknot: Iron Maiden is like Greek Mythology
In an article about the latest Download Festival at Donington, Corey Taylor of Slipknot complimented legends by comparing Iron Maiden, AC/DC and their presence at the past Monsters of Rock as nothing less than Greek mythology !
"Donington was like the monster of them all, really. I mean, you read these legendary reviews of Iron Maiden and AC/DC and stuff like that and you read about that and you dream about it and you see the pictures, you know, the spread out pictures and that's your myth, that's your legend you know. "That's like growing up with Greek mythology."

I believe he meant it in a good way
Corey Taylor once said that Iron Maiden are legends and that their Music was a big influence when he started to make Music.

What should be bad about Greek mythology? Hardly anything has been more influental to the European civilization. Hell, even the continent is named after a character of Greek mythology! I think this is one of the biggest possible compliments!
