Dream Theater to Open for Maiden in Paris

on March 3, 2005 @ 09:06

After rumors that have been flying for a few days, Dream Theater is officially confirmed as the second opening band for Paris next June, along with Within Tempation.

It seems unlikely that Motorhead, strongly rumored to open on that date, will be added now.

Dream Theater is already set to open for Maiden in Switzerland and Spain, but there as part of the festival bill.

Paris tickets are still available and can be bought online at FranceBillet.com.

i think theres still a place for the 3rd support band
what do you think?

i also found that some ticket sellers are selling tickets for incredible prices
for example euroteam has the tickets for Paris gig for 120-170 euro (!!!) + postage and booking fees
same tickets you can buy through francebillet for only 45-56 euro
so wheres the problem?

(i bought my tickets through francebillet of course)

You're right, but it doesn't seem that Garance is making way for a fourth band, that's why I said that in my piece of news. However, things might change.

Either they're tickets booker, meaning they're getting the tickets AFTER you order them, meaning they're going for official sellers first and then the second market. Or, they have simply bought tickets in advance thinking the places will be sold out and that they could charge a premium for the advantage of getting one ticket.

Finally, they might just ripping people off biggrin.gif
