As expected, the first single from the forthcoming Bruce solo effort, 'Tyranny of Souls', to be released on May 23 (May 24 in North America and June 16 in Japan with a bonus track), will be 'Abduction', the second track on the album.

The music video can be seen online now. Click now !

Here are some pictures out of it:

For the trivia freaks, it seems that one of the corpse Bruce is pulling out of the refrigerator could be the Eddie from Somewhere in Time. There's also a Maiden poster hanging on a wall at one point.

It is still unknown if this single will only be a video and radio one or if a proper CD-single will be released.

The video is typical Bruce, with some comic references too. It's OK, but the videos for 'The tower' or 'Killing floor' were much better.

ye ye youre alright
but i thought it was great to see njew video from buce
ghostofcain: killing... + tower are wasters
last "professional" video was back from the edge
this one new is very badly/poorly edited but as you can see it has pretty expensive stage set
im a professional scriptwriter and i know what im talking about

but its great to see bruce demonstrating his very own sense of humor being pilot in the story

I think they are nice. Not as good as some of his previous videos, but good.

I don't know if you were replying to my post, but I wasn't implying that it was a good strategy to put the video for free on the web (after all, I doubt it will be on heavy rotation on any music channel, free or not).

It might have been that some earlier Maiden and Bruce videos were poor story-wise, but this one looks a little cheap.

I'd have it over 'Virus' any day, but I still prefer one to the caliber of 'Rainmaker'.

Cheers
