Paul Tours Scotland, Belgrade Pictures
As you all know, Paul is currently touring the UK for the first time in a long time. His last three dates took place in Scotland. Here are some information about these gigs:Paul played for about 85 minutes. Both the Aberdeen and Shetlands gigs were recorded directly from the soundboard (note: these recordings may have been done without Paul Di'Anno's consent and it's highly doubtful that they will be released officialy) and featured the following setlist:
1. Ides of March
2. Wrathchild
3. Prowler
4. Marshall Lockjaw
6. Murders In The Rue Morgue
7. The Beast Arises
8. Children Of Madness
9. Remember Tomorrow
10. Impaler
11. Killers
12. Phantom of the Opera
13. Running Free
14. Genghis Khan
15. Transylvania
16. Sanctuary
The Edinburgh date had Maiden Scotland, a great tribute band, opening for Paul. Sadly the place wasn't full even with the ticket's fair price. Here is the setlist of both bands:
Maiden Scotland
The Number of the Beast
Can I Play with Madness
The Trooper
Wickerman
Children of the Damned
Two Minutes to Midnight
Fear of the Dark
Evil Than Men Do
Hallowed be thy name
Run to the Hills

Ides of March (played live not recorded intro)
Wrathchild
Prowler
Marshall Lokjaw
Murders in the Rue Morgue
The Beast arises
Children of Madness
Remember tomorrow
Ghengis Khan
Transylvannia
Impaler
Killers
Phantom of the Opera
Running Free (with Stevie from Maiden Scotland)
Sanctuary
In related news, Paul Di was joined on stage by former Sepultura/current Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera on May 28 at Dom Omladine in Belgrade, Serbia for a rendition of Maiden's "Killers". Check out pictures at this location.
Fansite Pauldianno.be has also published lots of pictures of that show and a nice review: click here.

Did he happen to grace us with any of his political brilliance this time?
I was at the Aberdeen gig, it was packed. Maiden Scotland were there too, setlists were the same.
Maiden Scotland were brilliant, more or less note perfect which is exactly what you want from a tribute band. In my opinion though (and most of the people I spoke to that were there) Di'anno was terrible.
He murdered the Maiden songs. It sounded like Slipknot doing bad maiden covers!!
I spoke to one of the Maiden Scotland guitarists after the gig and asked him why Di'anno was even with them.
His answer was - 'tell me about it!!'
