Somewhere In Time 7" Action Figure Announced

on April 18, 2005 @ 19:14

From the official NECA website:

Heavy Metal fans everywhere got excited when we announced our line of Iron Maiden collectibles, and here is our first 7" scale action figure to start off the line. Equipped with an arsenal of futuristic weaponry, this cyborg Eddie is based on the album artwork for Iron Maiden's 1986 Release "Somewhere In Time". Sculpted by Kyle Windrix and painted by Ed Repka, this Action Figure comes with a collapsible diorama base, 3 removable guns, alternate left hand, and is fully posable, featuring ball jointed hips and neck. Expect to see this Eddie very soon with a late May/early June release.

Sure i think its awesome with Iron Maiden action figures, but..

Despite the hard work they must have had thinking over the details and all that, the painting and everything - This is a low quality action figure.
I'm a "specialist" at those stuffs and i can tell, that the construction of this action figure probably, will easily be broken down (arms, legs) will fall off.
It seems we can't even have action figures without special armor, weapons and everything huh.gif

Must say tho, that whoever painted this and constructed details must have been working very hard, and the whole "Layout" for it, is brilliant.

anyone know why MacFarlane toys arent making the eddies anymore? (spawn)

Also, why does the NECA site only sell the Somewhere in Time headknocker... i have piece of mind and live after death, so they do make them!

I'd rather have a smaller figure. It looks really cool.
