Iron Maiden - download festival?
Rumour about Maiden performing at the Download festival in Donnington Park next June.Go to http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/lineups.php and search for "Iron Maiden". Obviously this is just a rumour but if it were true it would likely form part of the 2nd "History" tour where Maiden are expected to recreate the Powerslave stage set in full.

"Recreating the Powerslave set in full"? Hmmmm. A great idea. But here's a thought - would people complain if Maiden played the Powerslave album in full? Of course not. It's because it's "established" and "accepted" and "a classic". If they'd waited over 10 years to play all of AMOLAD, it would be considered a stroke of genius.
Last night at Earls Court Bruce asked the audience if they had wellys and then mentioned theres more than an airfield at Donnington :D
