Joey Jordison, man that's a bad choice the people made... he does not rank very high on my list...one who does however is the drummer in mastodon...wo-ha!
DOTR, 3rd best cover !!? (were there only 10 albums that year or what ?:p)
also strange choice...
those were the days when iron maiden was no 1 almost in every category. never mind... but wheres steve harris?
Whats with maiden only being the 3rd best britsh band?? They should have been 1st
"3rd Best British Band: Iron Maiden (after Bullet For My Valentine and Funeral for a Friend)

Ok Funeral for a Friend are crap... and I hate the sleeve! :P
Metal Hammer UK pool is a no1 bunch of sh*ts since 90s. Metal Hammer DE is now the same pile of crap and iam not reading them anymore after seein lot of pools without maiden just because they havent released album or tour that year... $&##%(*(
Bullet... and Funeral... are both really smashing and promising metal bands for the new generation of metal - they are coincidentally both from Wales and both have some very impressive drummers (check out the drumming on Funeral's Street-Car and Bullet's 4 Words...). You also may be interested to know that, before they were a headline act, Bullet... supported Funeral For A Friend, and Funeral... also supported Iron Maiden in 2003 if I remember rightly. Two proper good metal bands, but Iron Maiden are the best - no doubt about it. Up The Irons!!! Nicko JR.
Acording to www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk Bruce also won Man Of The Year in the Metal Hammer Readers' Choice 2005.
Been listening to Slipknot's Volume Three (The Subliminal Versus) album over the weekend and Joey's drumming is fantastic. I am a keen drummer myself, so believe me when I say Joey Jordison is a formidable drummer. Check out the album.
