Maiden in South America in 2007?
According to some Brazilian Newspapers, Iron Maiden will play in Recife!?! Brazil in January 2007.Meanwhile in Argentina CIE (Rock and Pop Radio) and DG (Daniel Grinbank) are trying to close with Iron Maiden for a Show in Buenos Aires.
CIE has a contract with Velez Sarsfield, and DG has already sign a million US dollar contract with River Plate to use their Stadium for shows during 2007.
So if Iron Maiden signs with CIE they will play at the Velez Stadium, but if they sign with DG they will play at the River Plate Stadium.
Iron Maiden is enjoying the success of A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH, that is on the 2nd position according to Capif (The Argentinian Recording Industry Association)
