Ross Halfin Book Update
In his latest diary entry, Ross Halfin gives us the latest updates on the new Iron Maiden photography book he's currently working on:Just spent the last two days going through my Iron Maiden colour. At the moment I hate them - can't bear to look at another photo... I've picked a lot of Powerslave from Long Beach (I have a soft spot for the album cover, it has everything a fan could want). I've missed out the mid-nineties offstage, and avoided Nicko's changes with fashion. At the end of it I'm quite pleased. I'll put some up next week - all I have to do now is the black and white...

mised out the mid nightnies offstage, huh? hows about if I miss out on bying... who am I kidding, I'll certainly buy it but I am pissed that the Blaze era gets elbowed once again...
Seems strange to say that too. He might as well say I'm going to completely neglect this period 'cause I want to.
I thought he meant that he missed out the offstage stuff as he wasn't spending time with the band on the road. He probably has a bunch of takes from their onstage performances and studio stuff.
I think Ross is refering to going through all his Maiden colour negs for the website and for his own archives, but not specifically for the book. He's been ranting about doing that for a long time.
But ok, we can assume he took the book excuse to finally dig in there, so the title of the news kinda holds ;-)
