South American Dates for 2008?

According to a number of Brazilian newspapers, Iron Maiden will play in Recife, Brazil in January 2008.

Meanwhile, in Argentina CIE (Rock and Pop Radio) and DG (Daniel Grinbank) are trying to get the band for a show in Buenos Aires. CIE has a contract with Velez Sarsfield, and DG has already signed a $1.000.000 contract with River Plate to use their stadium for shows during 2007. So basically, if Maiden signs with CIE they will play at the Velez Stadium, but if they sign with DG they will play at the River Plate Stadium.

The new album is currently placed second on the Argentina charts, according to CAPIF (The Argentinian Recording Industry Association).
