Death on the Road DVD Theater Screenings Annonced

Says Steve Harris, "We realize that the fans have been made to wait a little longer than planned for the DVD to come out but as they know — we won't settle for anything but the best and the extra time and effort spent in the final production of this DVD should be apparent. I can safely say that when people see songs like 'Paschendale' and 'Dance of Death' their jaws will hit the floor as mine did when I saw the final product on my TV at home. With visuals like this and the show played in 5.1 on a decent system it's just like being in the front rows of the show."

I would like very much to see Maiden in a big screen like in a movie theatre but there's something wrong about technical issues. It's impossible to have the 5.1 surround sound in all seats because the correct mixing goes like this: the voice in the center, guitars and other instruments in front speakers and bass and the drum bass sound in subwoofer. Therefore, people sitting in the last row and at the left corner won't hear the same as people sitting in the first row and at the right corner. I know this is irrelevant and Maiden is great whatever you are, but people won't get the maximun audio experience as they may wait.

Are they gonna give this a go in the UK, that would be IMMENSE! Even better, they should do it with the remastered 'Live After Death'. Then I really would have to remember the kleenex......................
