Next Live DVD to be from Donnington
Iron Maiden will continue their trend of releasing a live album for every studio album after Bruce confirmed that the bands performance yesterday at Donnington was filmed for a DVD. No further information is available but we would expect a release early next year is Steve is happy with the mixing and late 2009 if he insists on re-editting every single shot as has been rumoured for some time is often the case. We'll bring you more information as we have it.

This is cool because we'll get to see some NOTB songs, but I'd prefer to see a DVD of when they did the complete album so I can see songs like Lord of Light and The Pilgrim and all the others for that matter!
The streaming of the gig was absolutely superb. Looking forward to the DVD with some trepidation, hope to God that Bomber doesn't do the editing himself as the 'lightning fast' cuts made that last DVD almost unwatchable. Would like to see the DVD done in the same style as say 'Live After Death' or 'Maiden England', so we can actually see what is going on and get more of a feel for the actual gig instead of watching an MTV-style music video. The gig though, was undoubteldly superb and 'Children of the Damned' and '.......Benjamin Breeg' were absolutely INCREDIBLE. I do agree with the previous comment though, and would prefer to see a DVD of one of the indoor shows with the FULL album, rather than yet more versions of 'The Trooper', 'Run to the Hills' et al.
hopefully the live DVD will have both this show, and one of the older ones where they did play the whole album. fingers crossed
