Chemical Wedding Secures Distribution Deals
According to Variety, Cinema Management Group has closed key deals in major territories on "Chemical Wedding" — the supernatural horror-thriller written by Bruce Dickinson and longtime "Monty Python" editor Julian Doyle, who also directed the film.Starz/Anchor Bay Entertainment is set to handle distribution in the U.S. and Canada, while Universal Pictures Video will cover France, Belgium and the Netherlands for an early 2009 release.
Dickinson was in Cannes in May to show off "Chemical Wedding". The singer, a registered commercial airline pilot, flew himself to the south of France, along with a bunch of journalists and fans.
